[What the role is]The Singapore Aviation Academy (SAA) is the training arm of the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore. It drives capability development for the Singapore air hub and provides capacity building for the international community. To ensure SAA's continued relevance and to establish it as a centre of excellence for aviation knowledge, the SAA is undergoing a transformation of curriculum and learning spaces, including the development of an Aviation Gallery.

We are seeking a Trainee to join our Aviation Gallery Development team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in gallery curation, exhibition design, and aviation heritage preservation. The trainee will work closely with curators and project managers to develop engaging gallery spaces that showcase Singapore's rich aviation history and inspire future generations of aviation professionals.

[What you will be working on]
You will be responsible for marketing and outreach efforts and initiatives to promote the Singapore Aviation Academy to local and international trainees. You will:
* Assist in researching and gathering of aviation artefacts, historical documents, and multimedia content for gallery displays.
* Support the cataloguing and documentation of aviation memorabilia, historical photographs and other relevant documents, and the verification of historical information to ensure accuracy and authenticity
* Collaborate with design and content teams to assist in the development/creation of content and engaging and interactive exhibition layouts.
* Provide administrative support for gallery development project including scheduling, correspondence, meeting coordination, budget tracking and procurement processes for exhibition materials.

[What we are looking for]
* Training in Marketing and Communications, History, Design, or related field.
* Excellent research and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
* Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
* Experience in digital media, gallery/museum curation, or graphic/exhibition design would be advantageous. Ability to work with historical documents and handle artefacts with care
