Get to Know the Team
The Service Management Engineering team is building a platform to scaffold software components and serve as a pane-of-glass to help developers operate their services more effectively.
Get to Know the Role
This is a 6 months full-time onsite role based in Singapore as part of the GRIT Programme.
In this role, you will develop the ability to write production-quality code in a large-scale, collaborative environment, working closely with multiple contributors across teams. You'll learn and apply engineering best practices for designing systems at scale, while building a high-level understanding of adjacent domains such as CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, and cloud environments. You'll also gain hands-on experience with the latest AI technologies to accelerate development, enhance code quality, and streamline workflows.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
The trainee will be involved in the following areas:
* Writing backend and frontend code along with performing code reviews of other code
* Writing tests to ensure that the code is working as intended
* Providing progress and status updates as part of the project

Candidate Requirements:

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need
* Degree in Computer Science or a related Engineering field
* Familiarity with modern languages (experience with Golang & Typescript is a plus!)
* Computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, UNIX-based operating systems, relational and NoSQL databases
* Some exposure or familiarity with AI tools, e.g. Cursor
