HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE:

We are looking for a motivated and proactive intern to join our team, providing general support related to IT and day-to-day office operations. You will assist for effective desktop support, workstation provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware, software and related infrastructure. You will help ensure that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values, enabling staff and partners, managing IT requests/issues.

Primary Responsibilities:
* Provide a direct first line of support to users across the organization. This can include provisioning Mac or Windows PC and installing software, diagnosing connectivity or data access problems, answering questions about hardware or software. Investigate and troubleshoot issues.
* Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs
* Repair and recover from hardware or software failures. Communicate with impacted constituencies.
* Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities.
* Create and update documentation related to IT Tasks.
* Check hardware inventory
* Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, systems and key processes.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
* Studies related to IT.
* Knowledge about Microsoft Office 365, Google Workspace (formerly known as G Suite), MDM for MacOS and Windows.
* Communication skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills are vital in this role, since this individual works directly with users and IT department personnel.
* Time management - Ability to easily move between duties and responsibilities to effectively prioritize and manage their own schedules.
* Provides occasional guidance, some of which is technical.
* Problem-solving skills - IT troubleshoot, computers, devices, network equipment, etc. is a plus
