Intern in Computer Architecture for Datacentre

Huawei's Switzerland Research Centre is responsible for advanced technical research, architecture evolution design and strategic technical planning on computer architecture.

We are currently looking for Interns to join our new Computer Architecture Innovation Lab either in Zurich or Lausanne.

Job Responsibilities:

* Develop high-performance operators and develop high-performance computing kernels based on Triton to optimize NPU instance utilization.
* Develop and optimize large-scale model inference operators, including operator convergence and KV cache shared storage pool software development.

Requirements and qualifications:

* Currently enrolled in a Masters or PhD program in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering
* Good knowledge of computer architecture, compiler, system software

Preferred requirements:

* Experience in triton operator development
* Experience with LLM optimization systems
* Accepted papers or publications in conferences or journals on relevant topics
