The Position

The Pharma Technical Operations (PT) involves a range of activities, from Supply Chain to Regulatory Affairs to Finance to People & Culture. Click here to find out the range of departments involved, as well as previous projects worked on. This internship will be in the space of the PTS Pharma Supply Chain and Product Strategy.

Included in the internship will be training on the basic concepts of the work done in the respective departments. The interns will also be able to take advantage of Roche resources on subjects such as interviewing, making presentations, time management, and more. For this internship, we are looking into a more specific and focused scope of supply chain management.
The Pharma Technical Operations Supply Chain (PTS) is a complex, global network that requires seamless coordination and a highly motivated workforce to deliver medicines to patients worldwide. The PTS Chief of Staff office plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth business operations, driving strategic leadership initiatives, and fostering a highly engaged and informed workforce across this global network. Effective communication and strong employee engagement are critical to aligning our global teams with Roche's strategic vision and ensuring everyone understands how their work contributes to the bigger picture.

The Opportunity

You will directly support the Chief of Staff of PTS, helping to execute internal communication strategies, manage global employee engagement initiatives, and optimize day-to-day business operations for the leadership team.
* Internal Communications: Assist in drafting, editing, and publishing newsletters, intranet articles, leadership messages, and organizational announcements to keep the PTS global community informed and aligned.
* Engagement & Event Management: Support the planning, coordination, and execution of internal events such as global town halls, leadership offsites, team-building activities, and employee recognition programs.
* Business Operations Support: Assist the Chief of Staff with preparing executive presentations, managing meeting agendas, and tracking the progress of key strategic deliverables for the PTS leadership team.
* Content Creation & Design: Develop engaging multimedia content (presentations, graphics, short videos) to help translate complex supply chain and strategic topics into accessible, inspiring messaging for the broader organization.

Who You Are

You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree, ideally in Communications, Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources, Public Relations, or Organizational Psychology. Furthermore, you are:
* Proficient in Microsoft/Google applications, especially PowerPoint/Slides. Experience with intranet platforms (e.g., Google Sites, SharePoint) or basic graphic design/multimedia tools (e.g., Canva) is a strong plus.
* Keenly interested in corporate communications, organizational behavior, business strategy, and how leadership teams operate.
* A highly organized, creative team player with exceptional written and verbal communication skills. You should bring a proactive attitude, strong attention to detail, and the confidence to interact with stakeholders at various levels of leadership.
* Proficient in English.

* Workload: 100%
* Duration: Minimum 3 months, up to 6 months
* Location: on-site or hybrid
* It is not possible to write a thesis during the internship.
