In today's fast-paced digital world, successful companies understand the importance of managing both business and IT risks. As an intern on the SOC and HITRUST team, you will play a key role in helping clients strengthen their internal controls and meet critical compliance standards. You will gain hands-on experience, assisting with the planning, execution, and reporting of a variety of compliance engagements, including SOC 1, SOC 2, and SOC 3 Examinations and HITRUST Assessments.

How you will contribute:

* Assisting with client engagement activities throughout the entire engagement lifecycle
* Helping conduct tests on the design and/or operating effectiveness of controls
* Maintaining a working knowledge of assurance and compliance standards appropriate for assigned compliance engagements
* Contributing to knowledge-sharing and process improvement efforts within the SOC and HITRUST team
* Maintaining and achieving high quality work through collaborating effectively with internal team members

* Pursuing a bachelor's degree in business information technology, information systems, accounting, computer science, or a related field required
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Preferred Qualifications:

* Maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or higher (in major and overall)
* Motivated to pursue relevant professional certifications, such as the CPA, CISA, or other industry-recognized credentials, as part of long-term career development Applicants for positions with Forvis Mazars must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
