What you'll do

As a Product Development Intern for our brand Loctite and Technomelt, you will:
* Gain hands-on experience working on an industrially relevant R&D project.
* Synthesize new polymers for use in adhesive formulations.
* Formulate synthesized polymers into adhesive systems.
* Characterize structure-property-processing relationships of the materials.
* Test adhesive bond performance under industrially relevant conditions.
* Analyze and report experimental results to the technical team.

What makes you a good fit

* A rising senior graduating in 2029 or master's / graduate student pursuing a degree in Chemistry

* Some prior synthesis experience in an academic lab or industrial internship is a plus, but not required

* Familiarity with laboratory techniques for polymer synthesis and characterization

* This internship is eligible for a housing stipend or relocation support.

* Henkel's Summer 2026 internship program starts on May 27th, 2026, and runs through mid-August.

* Recruitment for our 2026 internships starts in late August 2025 and runs through early March 2026 or until all our positions are filled.

The salary for this role is $22-$27/hour. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
