Summary of the role:
Navitaire, an Amadeus company, are proven innovators in the travel industry shaping the way the world thinks about travel. With more than 50 customers worldwide, including many of the world's most successful hybrid and low-cost airlines, Navitaire offers a unique opportunity to make a large impact on the world of travel. This position is hybrid and would require 50% in Bogota office.

Job Description:
An ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in designing and implementing code for such a system architecture. They will be driven to write effective, clean code following SOLID principles and other software best practices, including a strong emphasis on writing comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure high code quality and reliability. They will be effective communicators that can collaborate closely with team members on a cross-functional scrum team.

What you will be doing:
* Write code to implement requested features using effective architecture
* Write unit tests and contribute to integration tests
* Assist in DevOps
* Work in a context of a cross functional agile team
* Share the commitment to deliver quality working software on an agile cadence with aggressive targets around code deployment frequency and cycle time balanced with high quality and reliability
* Collaborate with third party software development contractors

Requirements:
* Strong understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript
* In-depth knowledge of Angular or other JavaScript frameworks
* Proficient in HTML, CSS, and SCSS
* Experience integrating with RESTful APIs and knowledge about the HTTP protocol
* Ability to work with architects, product designers, and other developers to implement features
* Fluent in English with the ability to work with globally distributed teams
* Desire to support team development and learning efforts

About the ideal candidate:
* Education:  BS in Computer Science or equivalent 4-year degree 
* 1-5 years of work experience programming JavaScript, TypeScript , Angular, CSS, HTML, Node.js 
* Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment. 
* Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment. 
* Agile development experience
