YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Own and drive Talent Acquisition end-to-end for your vacancies across Birkenstock Europe, with a focus on Retail and Entry Office roles
* Take the lead throughout the candidate journey - from hiring manager briefing and sourcing to interviews, selection and offer
* Build strong partnerships with Hiring Managers and act as their trusted Talent Acquisition partner throughout the recruitment process
* Conduct initial and follow-up interviews via video, telephone or on site, and bring your perspective to hiring decisions
* Take Talent Acquisition on the road: travel across Europe to lead recruiting and interview days, meet candidates in person and support our growing retail organisation on the ground
* Play a key role in our European store expansion by driving high-volume hiring and helping us build strong teams for our summer peak
* Challenge and improve the way we recruit, identifying opportunities to make our processes smarter, faster and more candidate-focused
* Take ownership beyond your vacancies by contributing to team initiatives and operational topics that shape our Talent Acquisition function

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
* ​​​​​​​First professional experience in Talent Acquisition, ideally in an international Retail, Fashion or Lifestyle environment
* A hands-on recruiter who enjoys owning the full recruitment process and taking responsibility for delivering strong hiring outcomes
* Experience in high-volume recruiting and the ability to stay focused, organised and candidate-oriented while managing multiple vacancies and priorities
* Confident and approachable personality, with the ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with candidates and stakeholders
* Good stakeholder and communication skills, with the ability to advise Hiring Managers and contribute to hiring decisions
* Strong interviewing and assessment skills, with the ability to challenge, ask the right questions and make sound hiring recommendations
* Proactive, solution-oriented and highly organised, with a hands-on mentality and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
* A team player who takes initiative and is keen to contribute to the wider Talent Acquisition team beyond their own vacancies
* Flexibility and willingness to travel regularly across Europe for recruiting and interview days
* Experience with ATS / Talent Acquisition systems and good knowledge of common MS Office applications
* Fluent German and English; an additional European language is a plus
