JOB PURPOSE

MSC Group's Cruise Division is recruiting for its Cyber Security department a Junior Specialist Cyber Resilience.
The Junior Specialist Cyber Resilience contributes to the operational activities of the Naples Security Operations Center, supporting the monitoring, triage, escalation and documentation of security events as part of the progressive evolution toward a 24x7 SOC operating model.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Cyber Security Operations Center (SOC)
* Monitor security alerts and events through the company SOC platforms, including SIEM and XDR solutions, with a progressive focus on Cortex XSIAM.
* Perform initial triage by analyzing logs, anomalies and reports in accordance with defined operating procedures.
* Identify false positives and potential incidents, collecting the required technical evidence.
* Manage escalations to the next levels, L2 and L3, in line with internal guidelines and processes.
* Document activities performed, evidence collected and actions taken in a structured manner.
* Collaborate with the internal team, senior specialists and any operational partners during the transition and knowledge transfer phase.
* Contribute to the improvement of SOC use cases, correlation rules, playbooks, runbooks and knowledge base.
* Operate from the Naples control room with progressive inclusion in shift rotation, up to compatibility with the 24x7 model defined by the company.
QUALIFICATIONS (skills, competencies, experience)
* Initial experience, including academic, laboratory or internship experience, in IT operations, cyber security, SOC, monitoring or incident analysis is preferred.
* Genuine interest in operational cyber security and day-to-day work within a Security Operations Center.
* Good knowledge of Italian and English, both written and spoken.
* Basic knowledge of networking, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, operating systems, logs and technical events.
* Technical or scientific academic background preferred, for example Computer Science, Cyber Security, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications or related disciplines. Entry-level certifications such as Security+, Network+ or CCNA are a plus.
* Analytical mindset and ability to interpret technical information, also at an initial level.
* Operational accuracy, attention to documentation and respect for procedures in structured environments.
* Motivation for continuous learning and progressive growth on detection and response tools, including SIEM, XDR and Cortex XSIAM.
* Availability to work shifts, in line with the SOC operating model and any 24x7 coverage defined by the company.

WHAT WE OFFER
In compliance with the applicable pay transparency legislation, the following information is provided regarding the initial compensation foreseen for the position.
Contract
- Hybrid working model: 2 days per week remotely
- Applicable Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL): "Addetti agli uffici ed ai terminals delle società di navigazione che esercitano l'armamento privato" - sez. personale di terra
- Gross annual salary (RAL): between EUR25.000 - EUR32.000 gross per year, paid over 14 monthly installments
- Meal vouchers: worth EUR8 per on-site working day
The offer in terms of salary will be determined based on the candidate's professional experience, technical competencies, and the level of autonomy and responsibility assigned to the role.
