About you and this role

We are looking for a Turnaround Coordinator Lead located in Terneuzen, The Netherlands!

The Turnaround Coordinator Lead is a self-starter who thrives within the boundaries of an empowered team to provide continuity and coordination for turnaround maintenance activity across the site using Dow's Global Turnaround Methodology.

The purpose of this job is to optimize turnaround maintenance coordination by ensuring that Dow Work Processes are followed for planning, scheduling, safe execution, and final closeout of the turnaround to meet the Business and Maintenance strategy for duration, budget, and operational reliability to minimize the long-term cost of ownership of our facilities.

Demonstrates lead competencies of directing others, staffing, planning and controlling TurnArounds. Ensures TurnAround execution meet EH&S, quality, cost and schedule per the businesses requirements. Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and basic knowledge of related job disciplines.

Responsibilities

* Develops and maintains the turnaround schedules.
* Coordinates site integration issues.
* Forecasts turnaround resource loads and coordinates with contract service to ensure proper staffing levels.
* Leads turnaround teams to develop and implement plans for a series of turnarounds in each of the plants.
* Controls the cost and timing of the turnaround to meet the business and site needs.
* Defines work list by freeze date and enforces administrative controls for add-ons after freeze date.
* Develops critical path - integrate operations, projects, and maintenance activities and optimizes.
* Estimates cost of turnaround based on scoped work and adjust plans to meet constraints.
* Identifies opportunities for frequency extension between turnarounds and communicate appropriately.
* Prepares and communicates closure reports.
* Leads core turnaround team to ensure work coordination, planning, scheduling, cost management, material management, operations rep, project rep, and shared services are working together in Front End Loading (FEL), pre-TA activities, TA execution, and Post TA activities.
* Ensures plans are updated and archived for future turnarounds.
* Works with reliability staff to update Facility Reliability and Maintenance Strategy.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree plus construction, engineering, manufacturing or related experience required.
* At least 2 years of experience in a Turnaround Coordinator (within a manufacturing, industrial or similar environment) or Maintenance Coordinator (within a manufacturing, industrial or similar environment) role.
* At least 5 years of experience with daily turnaround or maintenance job planning and execution.

Your Skills

* The ability to organize, assimilate and analyze significant quantities of data.
* Proficient in Microsoft applications, such as Excel, Word and Outlook.
* Previous experience working in SAP and Primavera.
* Effectively interacts with multiple functions and diverse individuals to achieve goals.
* Demonstrates excellent decision-making skills and the ability to prioritize appropriately.
* Effectively manages multiple competing priorities and has strong troubleshooting skills.
* Has strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skills.
