All about the role
Responsible for supporting the team in developing well-engineered, robust, groundbreaking, high-quality AI solutions, in line with business needs and strategy and in accordance with the product vision & plan, stakeholders specifications, and technological standards. Thus, while owning the quality of the respective deliverables. Be the DS/ML guru of the team, building cutting edge solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
* Be responsible for the development and deployment of DS/ML products on our Data platforms in AWS and GCP, and work together closely with Product & Engineering team Leads to deliver.
* Be the Data Science lead, supporting team of talented data scientists and ML engineers, and therefore understand stakeholder needs and present potential solutions from a Data Science & ML perspective.
* Keep up with pioneering developments in relevant AI areas, share your knowledge within the team and mentor other professionals to build methodologically sound solutions.
* Bring deep learning-based, LLMs, and classical machine learning solutions into production, for both real-time and batch use cases.
* Support establishing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and success metrics for our DS/ML projects.

Can you deliver…

Here are the skills and experience we need from you:
* A proven track record of successfully delivering Data Science solutions, using machine learning and artificial intelligence in a company environment.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
* Robust knowledge of statistical concepts, tools and programming languages (SQL, noSQL, Python). ML Engineering knowledge is a plus.
* Profound knowledge of Data Science tech-stacks, including major frameworks like NumPy, Pandas, sklearn, TensorFlow/PyTorch etc.
* Profound knowledge in at least one Cloud-Environment (GCP preferred).
* You are an active member of the Data Science community and as such might have contributed to open-source projects, publications in a relevant area or been a speaker at conferences, meetups etc.
* Experience in mentoring team members, and collaborating with the team lead to achieve technological excellence.
* Master (or Ph.D) degree in a quantitative field with a focus on data analysis (e.g econometrics, AI, mathematics, physics, and other exact sciences).
* Professional fluency in English.
