Role overview
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager in the GIGYA and Content and Identity Management Platform (CIAM) space to lead our Engineering Team. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in CIAM or CMS development, with a keen focus on building scalable, secure, and efficient platform and services. This role offers the opportunity to drive the strategic direction and development of our Engineering team.

Key responsibilities
* Lead and manage a local team of 3-5 CIAM Software Engineers and Specialists, fostering collaboration, growth, and delivery excellence.
* Oversee the development and deployment of business-critical Content and Identity Management Platform and services.
* Liaise with the product owners to bring their ideas to life leveraging innovative technical capabilities.
* Drive cross-functional collaboration to achieve clarity and manage dependencies.
* Lead the design process for complex technical challenges within the team or broader organization, ensuring best practice.
* Resolve complex issues such as production problems or leading the resolution of critical incidents.
* Deliver complex projects with strategic business value. Ensure engineering decisions incorporate considerations for technical debt, system design, stability, reliability, monitoring, observability, and alignment with business needs.
* Make strategic trade-offs between achieving optimal solutions and managing technical debt, ensuring alignment with business priorities and strategies for debt repayment.
Qualifications:
Required
* Strong people management experience, with a focus on growing talent to form and evolve a highly effective delivery team.
* Proven track record in SAP CDC Gigya (CIAM) or Contentful (CMS) administration and development roles with deep knowledge across these platforms.
* Extensive experience developing customizations and executing data migrations.
* Hands-on experience of integrating with REST APIs and Event-based services.
* In-depth understanding of architectural and operational best practices for SAP CDC Gigya and Contentful.
* Experience with project setup (automated CI/CD, automated testing) and Git repository management.
* Track record in designing and operating features using SAP CDC (Gigya) and Contentful.
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Preferred
* Certifications related to SAP CDC Gigya or Contentful.
* Strong knowledge of Scrum-based Agile development.
