Accounts Receivable Accountant (e-commerce)

Job Description:

We're looking for an Accountant (Accounts Receivables) to join our Finance Team and support our day-to-day sales accounting operations. Our Finance Team plays a key role in the business - handling core accounting tasks while closely collaborating with other departments to help them make informed decisions.
This role is a great opportunity if you're accurate, motivated to learn, and keen to develop your skills in sales accounting - even if you're still at the beginning of your career (we don't require much prior experience).

Once you join our Team you will be responsible for:

* Verifying, issuing, and posting sales invoices
* Handling returns and adjustments related to sales corrections
* Collaborating with the Customer Support team on sales settlements
* Verifying VIES numbers for EU transactions
* Entering selected accounting documents into the system
* Supporting the preparation of auxiliary reports (e.g. CC599C, Intrastat)
* Preparing GUS (Central Statistical Office) reports
* Supporting payment preparation and posting bank statements (as backup)
* Assisting with account reconciliation and register analysis
* Contributing to month-end closing activities

What we're looking for:
* Experience in an accounting department in a similar role
* Accuracy and analytical thinking
* Basic knowledge of tax regulations
* Willingness to learn and develop in the area of sales accounting
* Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
* Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
* Fluent Polish and at least communicative English
* Working from our Warsaw office 3 days a week

Nice to have (but not required):
* Experience with FK Symfonia accounting software
* Experience in an e-commerce company exporting goods to the EU
