THE ROLE & YOUR MISSION
* Have a good understanding all processes and ways of working in Configuration Engineering
* Be aware of Darwin's capabilities and limitations
* Create Darwin-wide configuration based on clear specifications, using Darwin Configuration Language
* Interpret and translate business requirements for benefit templates, into technical requirements
* Update / Fix Darwin wide configuration based on change requests / bugs
* Follow the DCL standards in terms of naming and design of the configuration file
* Assist other CEs and Darwin Support teams with the debugging of templates
* Maintain an updated status for tasks, using the available tools (JIRA/Confluence) and meet agreed project deadlines and SLAs
* Produce documentation to reflect the content and available options of released templates, actively contributing to our knowledge base
* Perform medium complexity code and peer reviews
* Create complex reports using DCL and complex Reward Centre layouts
* Identify areas that need improvement and flag them to appropriate Subject Matter Experts

YOUR EXPERIENCE & VALUES
Essential skills:
* Excellent spoken and written English and Romanian languages
* Ability to operate independently as well as in a team in a fast-paced, ambiguous, global environment
* Able to prioritize tasks (own and team) and achieve objectives on schedule with high quality and with excellent planning and scheduling skills
* Excellent problem-solving skills and work very well in a team
* Knowledge and experience working with basic programing algorithms and notions
* Has a big appetite to learn and improve code writing skills
* Curious about new technologies and excited to find ways to implement them.
* Self-motivated with the ability to produce high quality work without supervision
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with a high attention to details
* Knowledge and experience of data serialisation formats: XML, JSON

Delivery & Project Management:
* Follows and give feedback on processes and ways of working consistently
* Estimates tasks accurately, plans and delegates assignments of work across project members
* Anticipates blockers, identifies dependencies of either product or technical nature and addresses them with the appropriate people
* Has a good level of autonomy - is able to take technical decisions on his own, balance priorities in their area of expertise, aligns with the delivery goals
* End-end delivery and ownership of small to medium sized projects
* Understands business needs and can challenge certain requirements
* Ability to gather, compile and process information from a variety of departments and stakeholders
* Collaborates with other colleagues inside direct responsibilities
