The Opportunity

You will be working as part of the Team Issuing Legacy IT/NL/FI & Global FRM and in specific in the cluster of FRAMS. The major focus of the team is providing services for and with our internal customers in the financial processing sector in several countries. Our team not only offers you a wide variety of work, and new technologies, but also the space to develop yourself in an environment where there is a good balance between experienced and less experienced colleagues. You will be working closely with colleagues from the Development and Test departments and project group members on customer projects. We are a team, where each member has their own primary responsibility but with the support and help of colleagues.

As team we mainly take care of management and maintenance of a number of Issuing applications for the European and Australian markets. To secure knowledge of a specific part of the business and their typical application issues, we have clustered the applications in the chain and each cluster is responsible for applications that are closely related to each other.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities​

* You'll be responsible for maintaining the Cloud infrastructure and developing it.

* Automating operations using Ansible, Terraform, and other tools.

* Contribute to our documentation and runbooks.

* OS tuning for high load

* T-shoot the Network, OS, Kubernetes cluster, and SysOps services (on GCP)

* Network Configuration ( VLAN, Bonds, Routings, ...)

* Research about new technologies and develop the Infrastructure

* Capacity planning and infra setup

* Participate in on-call rotations

* Storage maintenance

* Maintain development, test and UAT environments;

* Support test and development teams;

* Manage the correct use of the applications during daily operation;

* Manage and resolve incidents, problems and changes;

* Initiate improvement plans and prevention of problems;

* Contribute to key consolidation projects (FRAMS projects);

* Set and maintain conditions and criteria for the implementation of applications and processes;

* Ensure the 2nd Line of Support for incidents and problem management.

* Install, configure, operate, and continuously improve the infrastructure platforms to support highly-available and scalable secured services.

* Automate, test and monitor the platform and its sub-services, from an availability, consistency and confidentiality perspective.

* Propose adapted architectures for our infrastructure platforms and for services targeting our infrastructure platforms, in compliance with regulation, security and the expected service levels.

* Identify services migration scenarios.

* Deploy validated architectures and execute effective migration of services and data aligned with business requirements.

Who Are We Looking For

We look for big thinkers. People who can drive positive change, step up and show what's next - people with passion, can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and grow. In practice, this means:

* Bachelor's degree preferred. Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience) preferred.

* GCP certifications (e.g. Certified SysOps Administrator, Certified Solutions Architect) a plus.

* Proven experience as a Systems Administrator with a focus on Cloud services.

* Strong understanding of cloud computing principles and best practices.

* Experience managing and implementing CloudWatch for proactive.

* Proficiency in configuring and managing Cloud services

* Strong affinity with SQL, SOAP / XML, Web services, Windows Server, Linux, IIS, scripting (e.g. PowerShell, Linux shell);

* Good communication skills with the ability to provide a coherent explanation at different levels;

* Full proficiency of the English language is a must.

* Ability to work accurately and independently and with customer focus;

* Flexible with a focus on quality;

* Cooperative team player;

* Decisive and result oriented;

* Conscientious and analytical worker;

* Achievement orientated;

* Good organization skills capable of enthusiastically completing tasks with the team;

* Useful if you have already gained knowledge of ITIL, Agile and Cloud Environments.
