We are currently seeking a Customs & Project Manager specialized to International Trade & Compliance Management with Import/Export experience as well as Project Management knowledge.

This key role will be responsible for leading excellence in customs and trade compliance management solutions for Direct filling imports/Inward/Outward Processing of intracompany goods movements across EU region; ensuring that the provision of this service is fully compliant with customs regional and national legislation requirements as well as other relevant bodies.

Customs & Project Manager will provide support to supply chain to ensure smooth customs clearance process and be responsible for implementation of any new customs software with focus on process improvements of existing ones and lead search initiatives for duty reduction opportunities.

This role is based in Bratislava, Slovakia reporting to Customs Tower Manager.

How you will contribute

You will be:
* Maintaining ongoing Direct filling/Inward/Outward Processing cross countries.
* Managing and leading customs and trade compliance processes.
* Monitoring KPI's service level, cooperating and communicating with service solution provides.
* Raising incident software tickets and work on resolution.
* Managing and submitting a monthly IPR reports and product (SKU) updates to Customs Authority.
* Managing customs solutions implementation projects including testing, identifying defects and work on queries and issues resolution.
* Submitting project deliverables and ensuring that they adhere to quality standards.
* Preparing status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information.
* Building and mapping E2E new processes.
* Creating Business Requirement Document (BRD) describing the problems the project is aiming to solve and outlines the outcomes necessary to deliver value.
* Defining and maintenance of SOP, user manuals, training materials and other documents as needed to enable successful implementation and turnover of the process or system to the business.
* Monitoring project progress, completion, maintenance of post projects Go-live.
* Providing user trainings.
* Manage a team (initially 1 direct report).
* Provide support of duty implication for business strategic projects.
* Setting business models in accordance with the customs legislation, project management for customs area knowledge of simplified procedures, suggestion of suitable customs regime for new production projects, UCC.
* Supporting the business by providing costs effective solutions to import and export issues.
* Cooperating and liaising with internal stakeholders, customs brokers, customs authorities and service providers.

What you will bring

* Extensive Customs Compliance experience, preferably in a management role.
* Deep practical experience of European trade regulations.
* Experienced in operational international trade legal requirements.
* Demonstrated understanding of the importance of effective customs processes in critical supply chain operations.
* Excellent all-round technical and communication skills, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SAP and any other customs and trade solutions.
* Project management experience.
* Excellent organizational ability believes in continues improvement and be results orientated.
* Must have fluent English.
* Being action oriented, proactive, and resourceful in solving problems.
* Highly organized.
* Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
