Job Description:

At (COMPANY NAME) UK, we invest time into developing our own leading skin care brands - Nivea, Eucerin, and Elastoplast - to ensure we continue to provide our customers with the products they need to live a happier, fuller life.

As Demand and Supply Chain Planner you will manage planning of products from forecasting to supply into warehouse to meet customer demand in a demand led supply chain. To calculate an accurate volume and value forecast based on sales history and market intelligence to be used for short / medium term business planning (via S&OP), as well as for optimising production planning to support service level / stock coverage targets. Management of inventories using alert-based planning and safety stock to deliver a high level of product availability. Supply Chain owner for brand to ensure effective and efficient supply.

This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.

Your Tasks

Demand Planning
* To calculate and review an unbiased and accurate volume and value forecast using appropriate forecasting methods and market intelligence / historical information for each brand / product.
* S&OP - Lead monthly meetings with NAMs and Logistics to challenge and agree consensus forecast to feed into S&OP meetings.
* To critically review personal forecasting performance via various KPI's on a brand & sku level.

Supply Planning
* To implement alert-based planning to highlight and communicate potential supply problems in the short / medium term. To work closely with suppliers to ensure stock is received in line with requirements to maximize availability & service
* To plan launches / re-launches ensuring service is maximized while leftovers are kept to a minimum.
* To calculate optimal safety stocks using a mixture of statistical / manual approaches in order to maximise product availability and minimize stock holding.
* Supply Chain owner for brand to collaborate internally to ensure products are sourced and supplied in most effective and efficient way; generate ideas and project manage value engineering initiatives for brand to reduce costs.

Your Profile

* Analytical, results orientated with good influencing and relationship building skills
* Experience in a similar role
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a strong focus on team and collaborative ways of working
* Systems - SAP APO Experience (Desirable)
* Advanced Excel Skills
