Job Purpose
* The objective of the role is to oversee the transition of people and lab operations to the new Haleon Innovation facility in Weybridge, Surrey.
* This role will require working closely with multi-discipline teams from construction to FM as well as lab operations to develop a structured transition plan that ensures smooth transfer of operations with minimal impact to business objectives.
* This role will also focus on the human side of change and will require to prepare and equip our colleagues to adopt and adapt to new job location, systems, and technology, and more.
* It is beneficial but not essential if the candidate has background knowledge or experience of a wide breadth of functions ranging from R&D lab systems/process equipment (analytical/microbiological testing), facility management systems, validation and compliance requirements.

Scope of Role
* Lead the strategic change and relocation programme to establish a new site and ensure employees, processes, and systems are fully prepared for the transition. This role will drive organisational readiness, minimise disruption, and deliver a smooth move aligned with business objectives.

Programme Leadership:
* Work with project lead to develop and execute a comprehensive relocation and change management plan, covering infrastructure, workforce, and operational readiness

Change Management:
* Design, trial and implement strategies to prepare employees for new ways of working, including training, communications, and engagement activities
* Advocate for the importance of change management and clearly articulate how change can be implemented effectively
* Create and support delivery of actions that drive adoption of the change. Define success metrics and assess change effectiveness and readiness. Review and report on change outcomes and benefits

Stakeholder Engagement:
* Identify and map key stakeholders, assigning relationships and agreeing engagement approach

Risk & Issue Management:
* Work with project lead to identify, document and mitigate risks related to relocation and operational change; maintain robust contingency plans

Governance & Reporting:
* Work with project lead to provide regular updates to steering committees and leadership teams; ensure compliance with programme governance standards

Leadership
* Role model HALEON culture.
* Strong partnership with the Functional Leads, instilling and providing competence necessary to take on the most challenging objectives and drive accountability to others
* Proficiency in driving resolution of team conflicts through skilled negotiation and diplomacy, elevating to accountable functional leaders or SteerCo as necessary
* Foster an environment of enthusiasm, accountability, and teamwork, and help reward and celebrate achievements

Knowledge/ Education / Previous Experience Required
* Significant experience in Supply Chain or R&D including Project Management in a consumer healthcare environment or related area (e.g., CPG, pharmaceutical, etc.)
* ​Project & Change Credentials - PMP certification preferred; PROSCI/APMG Change Practitioner desirable, with proven experience managing complex projects and relocation programmes
* Business Acumen - Strong understanding of business operations and ability to align change initiatives with organisational objectives
* Leadership & Influence - Demonstrated ability to lead, influence, and guide teams through change, including courageous conversations and negotiation skills
* Communication Excellence - Skilled in simplifying complex messages and presenting effectively to senior management across written and verbal channels
* Decision-Making & Risk Management - Experience in evaluating risks, considering alternatives, and planning mitigation strategies collaboratively
* Change Expertise - Solid understanding of change processes, drivers of resistance, and strategies for adoption
* Problem-Solving & Planning - Strong analytical skills, root cause identification, and ability to balance big-picture thinking with detailed planning
* Adaptability & Resilience - Comfortable operating in ambiguity, prioritising effectively, and adjusting delivery approaches in dynamic environments
* Collaboration & Relationship Building - Team player with ability to build trust and work across diverse, global, matrixed organisations
* Influence Without Authority - Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, role-modelling accountability and fostering alignment
