WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

(COMPANY NAME) Consumer Finance, one of the UK's leading Motor Finance companies is looking for an experienced PR Marketing Specialist for a 12 month maternity cover fixed term contract. The key purpose of this role is to deliver an effective internal and external communication programme to support the wider strategic customer and business objectives within SCUK as appropriate, alongside day-to-day marketing related activities.

What you'll be doing
* Delivery of communication to all internal employees to keep them fully informed of company developments
* Ensure all activity, including personal data usage, advertising, and communication content, are compliant from a legal, regulatory and business perspective, and with specific focus on promoting good customer outcomes
* Delivery of external communication where appropriate to SCUK's dealers, customers, and OEM partners to announce new products and initiatives that help promote a positive image of the company
* Delivery of external communications to Trade Press including Press Releases/Media Alerts, Social Media updates
* The utilisation of multiple communication mediums (Bulletins, Email, Cubo, LinkedIn)
* Manage the process for both Customer and Dealer annual surveys
* Monthly review of all Financial Promotions for Compliance QA checks
* Develop a communication plan to include timings and detail for all PR activity. Monitor the spend for all external supplier publications and activity in line with prescribed budget
* Hold responsibility for the delivery of all internal and external (dealer and customer) communication content through all necessary mediums including SCUK intranet, Cubo, external Website and Social Media
* Work alongside the SCUK /OEM Brand Managers to ensure all communication is produced in line with brand guidelines
* Develop a comprehensive annual PR plan for SCUK and working in conjunction with your line Manager, ensure the plan is delivered in such a way as to maximise positive exposure for the company across all media
* Understand the Financial Promotions policy and sample check all brand Financial Promotions on a monthly basis adhering to Quality Assurance processes
* Manage the annual Customer and Dealer survey with internal and external stakeholders. Ensure that results are analysed, and appropriate action plans are created and implemented
* Manage and collate the Sales & Marketing section of the board report on behalf of Finance ensuring this is produced on time

What we're looking for
* Previous experience working within motor related financial services in a previous capacity or within the PR and communications arena
* Demonstrates sound commercial acumen, with experience of being able to quickly understand briefs to develop PR and communication documents for all media platforms
* Has an appreciation of legal, regulatory and compliance issues relating to both product development and the use of customer data and is familiar with the FCA's principles of business he 'treating customer fairly' code of conduct
* Previous experience of developing coherent high-level project, programme and activity level action plans and ability to multitask
* Solid understanding of the digital landscape including social media platforms and latest trends and initiatives
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with and present to both internal and external stakeholders
* A strong team player, able to establish strong working relationships with stakeholders, colleagues and business partners
* Must display sound time management skills by delivering activity within prescribed timeframes through the effective prioritisation of actions (self and team) across multiple projects and ongoing programmes

Other things you need to know
Salary - £33 - £38,000
Hours of work are 35 hours per week Monday to Friday and we operate a hybrid model of working
