The V.I.E Quality Engineer will be responsible for providing support to internal and external customers to ensure process control and problem solving through product development and production. This includes: Ensures that for every quality incident, the right quality tools are applied by the production personnel (through training, coaching, leading). Root cause analysis, action planning, application of containment measures, e.g. quality wall or controlled shipping Is responsible to define and release rework instructions and their application. Where necessary defines a Problem Alert for critical internal and external issues. Participates in regular part rejections analysis with the customer for 0km and Warranty. According to the customer requirements or depending on the quality results, sets-up a quality wall, manages (organizes and trains) the quality wall quality inspectors (also third party) Applies and coaches the use of 8D and QRCM in production. Maintains the Customer Quality Fast Response Board and process FMEAs. Check/ Audit that the controls are rigorously respected and escalate in event of non-compliance Updates and follows up the quality production indicators. Participates in the daily area production scrap reviews. Update, file and archive all documents related to his/her activity Takes part through the quality technicians in regular (layered) process audits and 5s audits

Requerimientos del candidato/a:

You are a highly motivated young graduate from graduate from an engineering school or university with a strong interest for a technical environment, especially in quality. As part of your studies, you have already undertaken an international curriculum (e.g., one semester or year outside your home country) that will help you being the cross-departmental contact point for the plant. You are innovative with a strong client orientation point of view. You are able to make good decision in a fast-moving environment as well as achieving planned results. You demonstrate strong leadership competences and good communication skills that will enable you to cooperate easily with all stakeholders. You are committed to quality and continuous improvement. You are open minded and with a serious desire to learn and work in a team, as well as a clear willingness to embark on an international career. A first experience or internship in the automotive sector can be a plus. Your English and another language is a plus
