COMMODITY BUYER SPECIFIC INVESTMENT - PACKAGING & PAINT JIGS

Job description

As Commodity Buyer Specific Investment - Packaging & Paint Jigs, your main tasks will be to:

* Procurement of equipment: Purchase Packaging, Paint tools, and services needed for launching any new project.

* Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure quality, cost, and delivery targets.

* Contract Negotiation: Lead RFX processes (RFQ, RFP), negotiate terms, and manage contracts.

* Building supplier strategy: Work closely with the global purchasing team throughout the regions, work on the forecast and create plans for the upcoming years purchasing plan

* Project Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, finance, and operations teams to align procurement with project timelines.

* Budget & Cost Control: Analyze spend data, support budgeting, and track savings initiatives.

* Acquisition: Use market analysis and previous sourcing costs to support new customer quotes by keeping OP costs as competitive as possible

* Compliance & Documentation: Ensure adherence to procurement policies, maintain accurate records, and support audits.

Profile

You are a highly motivated young graduate from an Engineering School or University with a strong interest for purchasing. As part of your studies, you have already undertaken an international curriculum (e.g., one semester or year outside your home country).

You are a team player, open-minded and have good organizational and time management skills. You are familiar with analytical tools (Power BI, VBA). You are curious and always on the look-out for improving industrial and manufacturing processes.

A first experience or internship in the automotive sector can be a plus.

Your English and Spanish are fluent, and another language can be a plus.
