MISSION
The Mexico Financial Analyst VIE assists in the reporting and analysis of Mexico financial activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Assists the team in the creation of all the relevant and standardized template for the country reporting

* Perform monthly reporting for Mexico (Headcount, plant split, input in HFM/Opium…)

* Participates in the continuous improvement of the reporting tools (HFM, Opium, SAP, Excel macros…)

* Coordinates material margin forecast in Bill of Material via interaction with Sales and Purchasing

* Participates in the creation of financial dashboard for Mexican plants

* Participates in the forecast, budget and Business Plan processes

* Confirms data / reporting accuracy and prepares various financial analysis as assigned by the FP&A Manager

* Maintains resin index, FX update

ACTIVITIES

* Uploads information and reports at required timing into Opium/HFM and participates in the continuous improvement of the reporting tools

* Assists in the forecast, budget and Business Plan processes

* Performs Bill Of Material control and review (Squeeze)

* Communication and analysis of weekly volumes forecasting

* Assists in R&D controlling activities

* Ensures consistent application of OPmobility global accounting policies and procedures across all plants as they relate to operations

* Must comply with all work rules, policies and procedures and promote and exemplify OPmobility values to all associates

* Perform other duties as assigned

PERSONAL BACKGROUND

* Bachelor/master's degree in finance and/or Accounting

* Previous experience in the manufacturing industry and/or in the reporting function would be a plus

SKILLS

* Knowledge of IFRS, Accounting and Auditing Procedures

* Fluent in English. Spanish is a good plus!

* HFM Knowledge

* Knowledge of SAP MM, SD, FI, CO preferred

* Ability to collect, maintain and analyze data

* Analytical thinking

* Advanced MS Office Excel formula skills

* Maintain confidentiality at all times

* Good written and oral communication skills
