What's the VIE Forvia Program all about?
The VIE Program of Forvia is an international young graduate program, which enables young graduates native from the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28 to work for one of our subsidiary around the world!

PLEASE NOTE: as part of your international development, you cannot perform a VIE in the country of your citizenship.
What will be your main missions?
Our (SSED) is looking for a VIE Purchasing to be based at its plant at (São João de Madeira - Portugal).

What will be your main missions?
* Use and improvement of costing methods and cost models
* Work in a multidisciplinary team (R&D, sales, control, manufacturing, quality)
* Participate in "design to cost"
* Negotiations with suppliers,
* Monthly purchasing reporting
* Represent purchases within the acquisition teams
* Provide component costings via cost models
* Consult expert suppliers
* Ensure transmission to program and commodity purchases
The mission will last (Length of 12 months).

Your profile and competencies to succeed


What you need to join us?
* English language is mandatory as you will be speaking with people from all over the world.
* Master's degree/Engineering diploma in purchasing
* Purchasing experience. (Automotive preferred / capital preferred)
