THE ROLE & THE TEAM

In this role, you will be supporting the operational tasks from Sourcing teams with a higher focus on the Payments team which ensures smooth planning and processing of our documentary business within our trade finance setup. On top of this, there will be exciting opportunities to interact with broader Private Labels Supply teams which consist of sourcing, quality, material and sustainability teams.

You will be part of the Sourcing Team Private Labels team within Zalando Private Labels.

Our role is currently open as a maternity cover, until the end of January 2027.

WHAT WE'D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

* You are solely responsible for checking and verifying incoming commercial invoices and freight papers under documentary business (Letter of Credit and Documentary Collection).
* You will be supporting us with issuing and amending Letter of Credits for our Private Labels suppliers.
* You will be supporting the team in answering incoming emails from internal and external stakeholders.
* You will be supporting the team in daily business and provide ad-hoc support (e.g. via excel reporting) if necessary.

WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

* You have successfully completed Berufsausbildung or a bachelor degree.
* Expertise in MS-Office and Google Suite, especially in Excel and Google Sheets.
* Analytical, structured and independent approach to work .
* Fluent in English. German is a plus.
* A self motivated colleague and someone who is eager to learn.
