About The Role
We are looking for an ambitious Sales Development Representative (SDR). Your role will be to prospect, qualify, and generate customer leads to assist in Blinkist for Business's overall business growth.
As an SDR, you'll be the first voice our future customers hear. You'll open doors, create new conversations, and help businesses discover how Blinkist can drive their success.
This is a sales role at its core, and an excellent start for a career in sales. If you're hungry to learn, motivated to succeed, and excited about growing in B2B sales, this is the place to do it.
We are a small but mighty B2B team, so this role will suit someone who is ultra proactive and pragmatic. You will work hand in hand with the wider B2B team to scale our influence and business, but you need to be autonomous and run with your own intrinsic motivation ('we are all adults' is one of our ways of working).
What You'll Do
* Reaching out to potential prospects via multiple channels: primarily through cold calling but also through LinkedIn, emails and offline initiatives.
* Qualifying prospects through consultative conversations using BANT criteria.
* Building and enriching the top of our sales funnel through outbound campaigns.
* Becoming a product expert on our business solution and understanding our position in the competitive landscape.
* Keeping HubSpot, our CRM, data up-to-date and using insights to improve your outreach strategy.
* Collaborating closely with our Account Executive to strategically target high-potential accounts.
* Scheduling and completing discovery calls to qualify prospects for a demo call with an Account Executive
* Staying proactive with follow-ups, handling objections, and nurturing leads through the pipeline.

What We're Looking For
* Fluent English & German.
* Although we would consider someone without experience who has the hunger and passion to enter into a sales role, ideally, you would have experience selling into Learning and Development / HR buyer personas
* If you do have this experience, then we would love to see your track record of consistently hitting and exceeding ambitious targets in sales environments. If you do not have this experience, then we're seeking a clear motivation to build a career in sales-this role is designed for those eager to grow and learn.
* You are comfortable and thrive in a performance-driven culture. You will be responsible for achieving sales-focused targets and bringing tangible outcomes when it comes to qualified leads
* You're comfortable with ambiguity, moving quickly, and operating well with a high degree of ownership
* Confidence in starting conversations with new people and engaging decision-makers.
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to stay focused while handling high-volume outreach.
* A proactive, goal-oriented mindset, you take ownership and keep pushing forward.
* Empathy, curiosity, and the ability to ask great questions and listen actively.
* A performance-driven attitude with resilience and adaptability.
