Strategic Equity Solutions (SES) team is a talent hub for Private Bank Solutions teams across the globe. We specialize in providing tailored and holistic advice to Private Bank clients on their large equity positions.
As an Analyst in Strategic Equity Solutions team, you will work closely with a group of Strategic Equity specialists across the globe who possess extensive expertise in managing the risks and complexities associated with large equity positions. Additionally, you will partner with various Investment Banking teams to originate and execute tailored structured equity solutions.
Job responsibilities
* Work with Private Bank advisors across regional locations to identify clients' needs around their large equity positions and formulate/structure the optimal solution
* Manage the end-to-end execution process with teams across Private Bank and Investment Bank
* Prepare customized marketing materials and case studies for both external and internal audiences
* Support with market intelligence to identify market trends, potential deal opportunities with priority clients (maintain databases, trackers, etc.)
* Track projects and conduct business review
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
* Proactive and self-motivated with a "can-do" attitude
* Basic understanding of capital market and derivatives, with strong analytical and quantitative skills
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with senior professionals and key stakeholders
* Ability to multitask several projects, maintain attention to detail and deliver quality work under pressure
* Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, with knowledge of databases like Bloomberg
* With a mindset for automation and basic knowledge of VBA or Python
* Fluent in Mandarin and English
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
* Experience (incl. internships) within Investment Banking Private Side is preferred
