About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and highly organized Advertising Operations Team Leader to join our team. This role is a cornerstone of our operational workflow, focusing on the precise execution of the technical and administrative tasks that underpin our global paid media campaigns. Reporting to the Global Advertising Operations Manager, this individual will be a key hands-on contributor responsible for managing support requests, implementing campaign tracking, and maintaining the data integrity of our advertising systems. This is an ideal position for a skilled advertising operations professional looking to make a tangible impact on a global scale.
What your day-to-day will look like:
* Own and manage the AdOps support queue (Workfront), serving as the first point of contact for marketer requests and providing timely resolution for technical and administrative issues.
* Lead complex tracking implementations for multi-market campaign launches, including pixels, floodlight tags, CAPI, and Enhanced Conversions using Google Tag Manager.
* Mentor and guide junior AdOps team members and regional colleagues, providing technical support and operational best practices.
* Manage escalation pathways, acting as the default resolver for high-risk issues before they reach the Manager level.
* Execute financial administration tasks, including PO requisitions, monthly reconciliation support, and expense tracking for campaigns and platform costs.
* Enforce global governance standards by auditing campaign naming conventions, maintaining SharePoint documentation, and coordinating with external agencies and vendors as the operational authority.
* Balance competing priorities across multiple regions and time zones using clear SLAs and intake processes while identifying workflow improvements.
*
Required Qualifications:
* 8+ years of direct hands-on experience in advertising operations or digital marketing operations roles.
* Proven technical expertise with Google Tag Manager and implementing tracking pixels for major ad platforms (Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta).
* Demonstrated leadership capability, including mentoring team members, managing escalations, and owning stakeholder conversations with a solution-focused approach.
* Experience working across multiple regions, time zones, or markets, with the ability to manage conflicting priorities and enforce global standards.
* Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and a process-driven mindset.
* Excellent English written and verbal communication skills for providing clear guidance to diverse stakeholders and serving as an operational authority with external partners.
* Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Workfront) and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience deploying and validating advanced tracking solutions such as Conversion API (CAPI) and Enhanced Conversions.
* Familiarity with financial reconciliation processes and enterprise financial systems for campaign expense management.
* Knowledge of vendor and agency onboarding protocols from a systems and process perspective.
* Background in quality assurance methodologies for campaign setup validation and tracking verification.
* Experience with SharePoint or similar platforms for documentation management and knowledge sharing.
* Understanding of global marketing compliance and data governance requirements in paid media.
