About the role
As a Sales Representative for Sport Channel, you are the most critical link in ensuring that our customers have a rewarding experience that elevates their sport performance. The Sales Representative demonstrates excellent customer service skills, meets hourly selling and customer service goals, provides product knowledge to customers and works as part of a team to meet individual and store objectives.
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team. This role requires a highly motivated individual who is passionate about sports and has a knack for sales. The primary responsibility will be to travel extensively to meet with clients, build relationships, and secure sport products' deals.
What you'll do
* Consistently deliver sales plans and company objectives through cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
* Provides an unsurpassed and memorable customer experience through making a connection, attention to detail, and offering solutions that result in customer satisfaction.
* Actively participates in and contributes to a positive store environment, fostering strong, professional relationships with peers, management, Opticians, and support staff.
* Takes pride in the store's appearance & shows initiative to keep displays & inventory clean, attractive & organized. Secures all company assets under one's control.
* Helps foster an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.
* Travel extensively to various locations to meet with potential clients and partners.
* Present and promote the channel's advertising and sponsorship opportunities.
* Negotiate and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
* Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients.
* Attend sports events, trade shows, and industry conferences to network and promote the channel.
* Collaborate with the marketing and production teams to create compelling sales materials.
* Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor activities.
* Sales responsibility is for Oakley, Bliz and EA7
What we are looking for
* High School Diploma
* 3 + years' experience in wholesale or retail
* Strong communication skills (both oral and written)
* Self-Motivator with a demonstrated ability to multi-task; ability to respond flexibly in a quickly changing environment
* Proven experience in sales, preferably in the sports industry.
* Strong understanding of advertising and sponsorship sales.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to travel extensively and work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as required.
* Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
* Passion for sports and knowledge of the sports industry and sport products.
* Familiarity with point-of-sale system, computers & calculators with basic phone and math skills.
* Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales.
* Embrace new technology & change with high level of accuracy.
* Ability to sell through use of sales skills and accountability for sales results, with a desire to meet goals.
* Fluency in English on C level minimum (written, spoken)
* Driving license B
