Your Tasks

This position can be filled in Zagreb, Serbia or Slovenia.

As a Junior Demand Planner for Adriatic, you will work as part of the Demand Planning team, collaborating locally with various departments, including Sales, Shopper & Customer Marketing, Finance, Customer Service, and Marketing. Your key responsibility is to support the local DP team and improve the quality of business planning within the local Sales & Operations process and various key performance indicators, with a particular emphasis on Service Level in-Full, Forecast Accuracy, and Forecast Bias.

Key responsibilities:
* Daily updates of local reports - such as OOS, Master Data updates, launch and relaunch lists etc
* Coordinating sample orders and following up on their status and availability.
* Coordinating deliveries with KAMs and supporting timely communication and execution.
* Gradually providing support with launch/relaunch (L/RL) checklists and related follow-up activities.
* Maintaining and regularly updating the assortment list to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
* Responsible for planning accuracy on dedicated BGRs.
* Be part of Sales & Operations process, together with DP team.
* Analyze key performance indicators, especially Service Level in-Full, Forecast Accuracy, and Forecast Bias, to identify areas for improvement, root causes of performance gaps, and opportunities for optimization.
* Work with cross-functional teams to enhance promotional and launch planning, ensuring that demand forecasts accurately reflect market trends and customer order behavior.
* Collaborate with Sales & Customer Service teams to deepen the shared understanding of different sales channels and customers.

Your Profile

* Relevant university degree
* Up to 2 years of relevant experience in demand planning, supply chain, sales analysis, business analytics or a similar area; internship experience is also considered
* FMCG experience or exposure to a commercial or supply-chain environment is an advantage
* Basic understanding of demand planning, sales forecasting and inventory-management principles
* Very good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
* Experience with SAP, SAP APO, SAP Analysis for Office, BI systems or Power BI is an advantage
* Strong numerical, analytical and organisational skills, with attention to detail
* Ability to analyse data, identify trends and prepare clear reports and presentations
* Fluent written and spoken English
* Basic knowledge demand-planning techniques
* Willingness and ability to develop knowledge of short- and long-term sales forecasting processes
* Structured, accurate and reliable approach to work
* Ability to organise tasks, manage priorities and meet deadlines
* Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn
* Ability to work independently with guidance and to contribute effectively within a team
* Positive, proactive and collaborative attitude
