Importantly, this position is aligned with the strategic B2B Supply Iberia Acceleration Plan (2025-2030), which includes the creation of 62 new roles-9 of them critical Support Function positions currently subject to the hiring freeze. This role falls within the Finance/Risk category identified as essential to guarantee operational excellence and business continuity

MISSION

The mission of the Know Your Client (KYC) Analyst at SEM is to ensure the correct application and compliance with SEM KYC policies, tools, processes, and best practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Client onboarding and review of the existing client portfolio.

* Analysis of files to ensure KYC/AML compliance and ethical standards for both new and existing counterparties.

* Proposal of contractual clauses to counterparties in support of specific operations, in collaboration with the Legal Department.

* Participation in periodic tasks managed by the team, such as:

* Adverse Media Screening

* Sanctions and PEP Monitoring

* SSI Monitoring

* Mailbox Monitoring

* Correction of findings arising from permanent supervision controls.

* Responding to external requests.

* Providing support and responding to urgent business needs.

* Monitoring existing counterparties in terms of KYC and issuing alerts when necessary.

* Searching and obtaining documents using databases and requesting documentation from clients.

* Responsibility for MIFID / EMIR / REMIT classification.

* Management of alerts related to sanctions and adverse media.

* Ensuring the implementation and compliance with policies on Health & Safety, Diversity, Cybersecurity, and Ethics & Compliance, as well as with organizational procedures and processes.

* Performing all or part of these tasks, without prejudice to any other duties that may be assigned in accordance with the incumbent's qualifications, training, and experience.
