Assistant Front Office Manager - Grand Hyatt Barcelona

We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Assistant Front Office Manager to join our leadership team. This role is key to ensuring seamless front office operations, delivering world-class guest experiences, and fostering a culture of excellence among our colleagues.

What You'll Do

* Lead and Inspire: Support the Front Office Manager in supervising daily operations, motivating the team, and ensuring exceptional guest service.

* Drive Operational Excellence: Oversee front desk functions including check-in/out, room assignments, billing accuracy, and cash handling.

* Team Development: Assist with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and continuous training to maintain high engagement and performance.

* Guest Relations: Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally, collaborating with other departments to ensure satisfaction.

* Optimize Performance: Monitor service standards, implement improvements, and contribute to revenue and cost-control initiatives.

* Ensure Compliance: Maintain adherence to brand standards, health and safety regulations, and operational policies.

* Communicate Effectively: Lead shift briefings, review daily activities, and ensure smooth coordination across all hotel divisions.

* VIP & Special Services: Support the implementation of personalized experiences for VIP guests and special events

Requerimientos del candidato/a:

What We're Looking For

* Previous supervisory experience in Front Office within a luxury hotel environment.

* Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop teams.

* Excellent verbal and written communication in Spanish and English.

* Proficiency in hotel management systems and Microsoft Office.

* Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.

* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

* A true passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
