About the Role
As a Concierge, you will be an essential ambassador of the guest experience, delivering tailored recommendations, expert guidance, and warm hospitality. From arrival to departure, you will anticipate guest needs, coordinate services across the hotel and the city, and ensure every stay is seamless, exceptional, and unforgettable.
Main Responsibilities
Guest Service & Personalized Experience
* Welcome guests warmly and professionally, offering personalized recommendations and fulfilling requests with care and efficiency.
* Arrange dining reservations, spa appointments, entertainment bookings, and unique guest requests such as floral arrangements or gift deliveries.
* Provide detailed, curated information about local attractions, cultural events, exclusive experiences, and Barcelona's hidden gems.
* Maintain and update guest profiles to deliver highly personalized and anticipatory service.
* Support the Concierge team in coordinating daily guest services and ensuring smooth guest flow.
Coordination & Operational Excellence
* Collaborate closely with Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and other departments to deliver seamless and integrated service.
* Organize all transportation needs, including airport transfers, chauffeur services, taxis, and city travel guidance.
* Monitor VIP arrivals in partnership with the Guest Experience team, ensuring all preparations are made for a flawless stay.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked Concierge desk with up-to-date maps, brochures, and essential guest resources.
* Respond to inquiries and resolve concerns with empathy, professionalism, and prompt follow-up to ensure guest satisfaction.

* Represent the Hyatt brand with pride through professional appearance, warm hospitality, and a proactive service mindset.

Requerimientos del candidato/a:
Qualifications & Requirements
* Previous experience as a Concierge, Guest Services Agent, or similar role in luxury hospitality is highly valued.
* Excellent communication and guest-relation skills with a natural flair for service.
* Strong knowledge of Barcelona's gastronomy, culture, entertainment, and local services.
* Proficiency in English and Spanish; additional languages are a strong advantage.
* Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Proactive, organized, detail-oriented, and solution-focused mindset.
* Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and contribute to a positive team culture.
