About the Role

As an Maintenance Technician, you will act as an ambassador of the Hyatt brand, ensuring all electrical installations operate safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with applicable regulations.
This is an operational position with a rotating schedule, including shifts, weekends, and public holidays according to hotel operational needs. You will work closely with the Engineering team and coordinate with other departments to resolve technical issues while minimizing any impact on the guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of all electrical systems throughout the hotel, including but not limited to:
* Performing preventive and corrective electrical maintenance across the property
* Troubleshooting and repairing lighting systems, power outlets, switchboards, electrical panels, circuits, and wiring
* Maintaining emergency lighting systems and backup power infrastructure (UPS and generator support)
* Ensuring proper operation of electrical components connected to HVAC systems, kitchen equipment, technical installations, and guestroom appliances
* Responding promptly and professionally to electrical incidents and maintenance requests
* Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, technical drawings, and manuals
* Assisting with energy efficiency and electrical consumption control initiatives
* Ensuring full compliance with electrical regulations, safety standards, and hotel policies
* Accurately documenting maintenance activities and updating maintenance logs and work orders
* Supporting emergency situations with a calm, safety-focused, and solution-oriented approach
* Coordinating with external contractors and suppliers when specialized support is required
* Maintaining tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, safe, and organized condition

Requerimientos del candidato/a:

Requisitos y Perfil

* Experiencia demostrable como Técnico/a de Mantenimiento Eléctrico o Electricista, preferiblemente en hoteles, edificios grandes o instalaciones complejas
* Conocimientos sólidos de instalaciones eléctricas, diagnóstico de averías y reparaciones
* Formación técnica y/o certificación en Electricidad o Electromecánica (imprescindible o muy valorada)
* Capacidad analítica y de resolución de problemas, con atención al detalle
* Autonomía en el trabajo y capacidad de colaboración en equipo
* Mentalidad de servicio y sensibilidad hacia la experiencia del huésped
* Flexibilidad horaria para trabajar en turnos rotativos, incluyendo fines de semana y festivos
* Actitud profesional y fuerte compromiso con la seguridad y el cumplimiento normativo
* Dominio del español; conocimientos de inglés serán muy valorados
