Your impact

Jacobs is seeking an Entry-Level Highway/ Roadway Engineer to join our Transportation team in Tempe AZ, working on projects that bring innovative solutions to our clients' challenges locally and worldwide.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to join our team and be involved in a variety of engineering tasks such as those regarding planning, design, and maintenance of large-scale infrastructure projects.

In this position you will work with a multidisciplinary team taking on a variety of tasks that blend your theoretical knowledge with practical application. Under the guidance of professional engineers, architects and other senior technical staff you will provide design and engineering services for highways, expressways, and major road networks.

Here's what you'll need

* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
* Course work related to transportation
* Strong analytical, conceptual, organizational, and communication skills.

Ideally, you'll also have

* Engineer in Training (EIT) or ability to obtain within 6 months.
* 1 year of previous design or intern experience.
* Knowledge of and experience using CADD/Design software (preferably Microstation/OpenRoads/AutoCADD)

The base salary range for this position is $58,656.00 to $88,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
