Your Responsibilities

As a Manufacturing Engineer at (COMPANY NAME) Kernersville located in Kernersville, NC you will be responsible for providing manufacturing engineering support to Hot end (Fabrication & Welding) manufacturing processes of the excavator structures.
In this position, your duties will include development and management of manufacturing processes for fabrication & welding operations. You will be engaged in equipment / process justification and implementation. Establish and maintain detailed process documentation. Innovate and implement safety, quality, product efficiency, cost reduction, and improvement ideas. Disposition of quality notes for areas of responsibility.
* Providing manufacturing Engineering support to Hot end operations
* Development and management of manufacturing processes
* Equipment & process justification and implementation
* Innovate and implement safety, quality, productivity, and cost reduction improvements.

What Skills You Need

* 1 year or less of manufacturing engineering experience.
* 1 year or less of experience with engineering software including AutoCAD (2D) and Creo (3D).
* Identifying and implementing mistake-proofing solutions to improve manufacturing accuracy.
* Ability to apply lean manufacturing concepts and tools to eliminate waste.
* Possess the attitude and ability to work well within the ME group, independently and among various levels of the organization.
* Ability to work flexible hours, as needed to support the business.
* Leading strategic projects.

* Internship within a related manufacturing Engineering field.
* Member of professional organization for engineers.

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
* Bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering technology (Mechanical, Manufacturing or Welding preferred)
