A highly organized, fast-learning Division Communications Lead will support a dynamic, high-volume communications group in the Division's marketing and strategy team. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who thrives in a fast-paced environment, prides themselves on quality and measurable impact, solves problems collaboratively, thinks creatively and strategically, and produces content that elevates the Division's innovation culture, technologies, latest news, and employee engagement across channels.
The Division Communications Lead will support a wide range of communications activities: compiling the Division newsletter, supporting Business Line monthly/bimonthly updates, preparing intranet articles for myHub, maintaining key Division SharePoint sites and the editorial calendar, reviewing and curating Viva Engage posts, pursuing news stories for global video production, providing event support, and managing basic analytics. The role will also assist with visuals, templates, and photography.
The Division Communications Lead will work closely with Division leaders, product champions, technical experts, and the central communications team to ensure clear, consistent, and impactful messaging across the Division.
This is a hands-on role with room for growth. The Division Communications Lead will receive close direction initially, then gain independence over time while working closely with a supportive manager who values quality, continuous improvement, creativity, a positive "let's get this done" mindset, and strong teamwork.

Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Editorial
* Assist with drafting, editing, and publishing newsletters, myHub articles, emails, and Viva Engage posts.
* Support scriptwriting and message development for leadership videos and internal announcements.
* Review and quality-check content from business lines, functions, and technical teams to ensure clarity, tone, and brand alignment.
* Maintain and update the communications editorial calendar.
Digital Channels & Intranet (myHub)
* Build and publish posts on myHub, SharePoint, Viva Engage, and Microsoft-native channels, including Outlook and Teams.
* Support campaigns across multiple channels (e.g., Engage to Excel, United Way, Performed by SLB).
* Manage weekly and monthly communication deliverables to ensure timely and high-quality execution.
Video Production & Social Storytelling
* Capture onsite footage during events, filming sessions, and townhalls.
* Edit and produce short-form, social-media-style videos (e.g., TikTok/Reels) for internal audiences.
* Apply SLB brand guidelines to all video content.
* Assist in developing and maintaining a Division video style guide.
Metrics, Insights & Best Practices
* Track engagement metrics across newsletters, myHub, Viva Engage, and email platforms.
* Identify trends, successes, and opportunities by analyzing content performance.
* Monitor external channels (e.g., LinkedIn) to understand technology-focused storytelling practices.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Support
* Work with the central Communications and Marketing teams on campaigns and priorities.
* Support key groups at HQ with their webcasts and major organizational engagements.
* Participate in select leadership meetings and filming sessions to support content planning and production.
Development Plan Summary: Over 18 months, the Division Communications Lead builds core skills in writing, editing, visual storytelling, and positioning technology and innovation in internal news. They grow digital fluency across key platforms and learn to engage a 25,000+ employee audience. Strategic awareness develops as they identify story opportunities, interpret engagement trends, and support flagship corporate and executive communication initiatives. The role also builds confidence working with leaders of billion-dollar businesses. By month 18, they deliver high-quality, executive-aligned communications with strong judgment and independence

Requerimientos del candidato/a:

Required Qualifications
* Fluent, professional-level English with superb writing and speaking skills.
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field.
* Experience in content creation, digital media, social media, or a related role.
* Strong editing and storytelling skills, including visual storytelling.
* Experience producing and editing short-form, social-media-style videos and working with visuals, graphics, and photos.
* Proficiency with PowerPoint, Canva, and video and image editing platforms.
* Strong command of Microsoft-native channels (Teams, Outlook) and demonstrated ability to write effective prompts for Copilot and/or other AI platforms.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, fluid, and high-pressure environment with shifting priorities.
* Highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to meeting deadlines.
* Comfortable working with leaders, technical subject-matter experts, and diverse stakeholders.
* Ability to work effectively in a highly diverse, global Fortune 500 company and contribute to a strong sense of belonging among people from various cultures and backgrounds.

Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with SharePoint, Viva Engage, or similar internal communication platforms.
* Familiarity with the Workshop email platform or willingness to learn quickly.
* Strong understanding of brand guidelines and visual consistency.
* Experience supporting technology-focused or innovation-driven storytelling.
* Basic understanding of communication analytics (engagement metrics, dashboards, performance trends).
* Familiarity with Adobe InDesign or related design tools
