Job Description:
Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Robotic Safety Engineer to join our Industrial Safety department based in Toulouse, France.
You will be part of a team developing the technical authority framework for robot and automation safety across our global industrial system. As part of the Robotic Safety department, you will be involved in risk analysis management, safety architecture definitions, and hands-on system validations aiming at securing regulatory compliance from the earliest project phases through to deployment.

Your challenges:
* Ensure strict compliance with corporate safety policies and international machinery regulations across industrial projects.
* Define technical safety specifications and design safety architecture concepts for new robotic systems.
* Manage qualitative risk analysis documentation throughout the entire lifecycles of automated installations.
* Participate in on-site testing, qualification, and validation procedures for newly integrated workstations and lines.
* Establish risk mitigation plans for existing industrial applications in alignment with local Health & Safety focal points.
Your boarding pass:
* Proven professional experience in machinery safety engineering dedicated to industrial automation or robotics.
* Mastery of the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and safety-related control system standards (ISO 13849-1).
* Strong technical background with standard industrial robotics safety requirements (ISO 10218) and cobots (ISO/TS 15066).
* Demonstrated interface capability to act as a technical lead with suppliers, engineering teams, and regulatory authorities.
* Full professional fluency in English is mandatory to operate within this transnational, multi-functional team setup.
