Inviting applications for the role of Domain Trainee - Business Banking & Fulfillment
Role Overview
This role is suited for professionals with a strong foundation in accounting, financial analysis, and credit risk assessment, who thrive in structured, data-driven environments.
In this role, you will be responsible for credit-related process execution and documentation, supporting informed and responsible credit decisions. You will work on well-defined credit assessment tasks, perform data transactions, and engage with stakeholders through calls and internal discussions. As part of the Credit Decisioning team, you will also contribute by sharing best practices and standard methodologies, enabling continuous learning and consistency across the team.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, resilient, and adaptable, with a strong focus on accuracy, customer requirements, and risk discipline.
Responsibilities
As part of the credit assessment team, you will be responsible for:
* Assessing the commercial creditworthiness of customers and prospects to support sound credit decisions
* Analyzing demographic, industry, regional, and financial data using risk models to evaluate default probability, recommend credit limits, and define trade terms
* Conducting timely credit risk assessments for new and existing customers based on queue workflows, portfolio triggers, and business priorities
* Managing core credit operations including credit reviews, customer master setup, credit limit maintenance, and order release decisions
* Communicating credit findings clearly to internal stakeholders and providing actionable recommendations to mitigate credit risk
* Navigating multiple credit tools, receivables systems, and internal workflows to deliver accurate and consistent credit outcomes
* Maintaining high data quality standards across risk models, scorecards, and external risk reporting
* Supporting issue resolution and process optimization initiatives related to credit platforms, data quality, and evaluation workflows
* Ensuring smooth onboarding of new clients and adherence to defined service level agreements (SLAs)
* Ensuring compliance with risk policies, delegation of authority, and approval frameworks
* Performing additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications
* University graduate in a related field (Economics, Accounting, or Finance preferred)
* Excellent command of English (written and verbal)
* Prior experience in Banking Ops
* Strong understanding of financial statements and financial trend analysis
* Industry exposure to commercial lending, industrial products, or B2B credit is an advantage
* Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred skills
* Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
* Prior experience in credit risk management or credit analysis
* Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation abilities
* Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
* Resourcefulness in leveraging internal and external data sources for decision-making
* Ability to encourage open dialogue, critical thinking, and continuous improvement
* Proven ability to build trust and credibility with business partners
* Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines
