Company Description

La Marzocco Srl, a leading manufacturer of high-end equipment for the specialty coffee industry, is looking for a Firmware Developer to join its team at the Scarperia e San Piero (FI) headquarters.
We are looking for individuals with strong initiative and proactivity, who are open to change and passionate about digital transformation.

Position

Reporting to the R&D Electronics Manager within the R&D Electronics department, you will be responsible for the following activities:

* Contribute to the development of technical solutions for the system side.
* Develop firmware for programming microcontrollers from various families.
* Test and debug firmware.
* Draft documentation and manage versions and releases.
* Develop internal software (Windows) to support Production and the Test Laboratory.
* Conduct validation tests on third-party firmware.

Requirements

* Degree or diploma in electronics or computer science with a propensity for low-level firmware development.
* At least 2 years of experience in similar roles.
* Problem-solving skills, ability to detect and solve hardware and firmware issues, also using laboratory instruments.
* Knowledge of hardware and firmware debugging systems.
* Knowledge of programming languages, including C and C++.
* Previous experience in programming microcontrollers (ST, Microchip, Atmel, Espressif).
* Technical writing and communication skills.
* Aptitude for teamwork.
* Good level of spoken and written English.
