As a member of the "IT Core Operations" team, ensure smooth running of jobs and interfaces, e.g. applications or databases. Responsibilities include monitoring , start and stop of jobs, queues, processes and perform deployments.

YOUR CHALLENGE

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
* Ensure smooth running of processes and interfaces
* Execute and supervise the close of business
* Maintaining production and test environments
* Deployment of artefacts in Production and test environments
* Monitor and troubleshoot scheduled jobs
* Automate tasks where ever possible.
* Resolves and closes incidents /service requests from Global IT-Service Desk as per procedures & allocated timelines
* Provides first-line investigation and diagnosis
* Escalates unresolved incidents/service requests within agreed timescales
* Logs relevant incident/service request details per help desk procedures
* Complete daily and periodic checklists
* Produce IT reporting (KPIs) to IT Management

YOUR PROFILE

Experience/Knowledge/Skills
* Strong knowledge of Linux and shell scripting
* Knowledge of Transact (T24), Insight, Automic (UC4) Scheduling
* Hands on experience in MS SQL
* Knowledge of jBoss and oracle will be considered as an advantage
* Ability to write technical support documentation
* Good analytical and problem solving skills
* Good written and verbal skills in English.
* Willingness to work flexible hours/shifts/weekends when needed
* Team player and client centric mindset
