Pwc Luxembourg is hiring a Database Administrator M/F/D. What if it was you?

Your mission:

You will integrate a project team into IT Infrastructure department to provide expertise around Data Services, with a focus in Microsoft SQL Server / Azure SQL Databases and Fabric platform.

Other Database types - MongoDB and PostgreSQL - are part of the scope as well but the onboarding to these technologies can be done in a second phase. 

Our role is to support our clients - IT Projects Managers, Functional architects or IT Developers - to design and implement innovative solutions into our IT Infrastructure landscape. 

This role may require participation in an on-call duty rotation to ensure 24/7 availability for critical incidents or systems maintenance. The person should be prepared to respond to urgent issues outside of standard working hours when necessary.

* Design IT Data Infrastructures based on functional requirements. 
* Provide guidance and database configuration recommendations. 
* Participate the migration process and vulnerability patches
* Setup and maintain data components via Infra as Code tools.
* Support projects by providing expertise and guidance in your technical scope. 
* Monitor and explore new possibilities to improve our Data Landscape. 

Let's talk about you. If you are/have

* Experience (2 to 5 years) in Microsoft SQL Server
* Experience in Power BI Online or Terraform can be differentiators. 
* Dynamic, proactive, open minded and solution oriented 
* Facilitate communication and cooperation among team members.  
* Team player, collaborate across teams and open to feedback. 
* Creative and not afraid to go outside your comfort zone.
