Descripción del puesto:
Own the integration and governance for First Mile (FM) and High Velocity Events (HVE), ensuring upstream demand signals are translated into an accurate, scalable, and executable network plan. The role serves as the single-threaded owner connecting Business, Fulfillment Centers, Transportation, Volume Planning, and Operations to guarantee network readiness during peak events and strategic planning cycles. This aligns with the broader objective of creating a single source of truth across the supply chain organization and connecting upstream and downstream planning processes.
Key job responsibilities
First Mile Governance
- Own the weekly First Mile volume reconciliation process across AFN, USF, and EF programs.
- Monitor forecast accuracy and identify risks related to volume shifts, topology changes, and upstream assumptions.
- Partner with S&OP, Business, and Finance teams to ensure planning assumptions remain synchronized.
- Act as the primary First Mile governance contact for the IBP process.
High Velocity Events (HVE) Management
- Lead end-to-end planning readiness for major commercial events.
- Coordinate cross-functional planning reviews to validate demand, capacity, and operational constraints.
- Build and maintain event-specific governance mechanisms, including executive updates, risk trackers, and daily control towers.
- Drive post-event reconciliations and document lessons learned to improve future planning cycles.
Integrated Business Planning (IBP)
- Support the execution of the Mexico IBP cadence by connecting upstream demand signals with operational execution.
- Consolidate planning assumptions across Supply Chain, Transportation, Operations, and Business teams.
- Surface misalignments early and drive timely decision-making through structured governance forums.
Risk Management & Operational Excellence
- Proactively identify capacity, demand, and execution risks before they materialize.
- Build mitigation strategies and coordinate cross-functional action plans.
- Escalate critical issues with clear recommendations and quantified business impact.
A day in the life
As an HVE Program Manager, no two days are the same. You will partner with Business, Fulfillment Centers, Transportation, and Operations teams to reconcile demand signals, assess network readiness, and drive planning decisions. A typical day includes analyzing volume trends, leading cross-functional planning reviews, identifying and mitigating risks, and providing executive updates for key stakeholders. During High Velocity Events such as Hot Sale or Prime Day, you will act as a central coordinator, ensuring the network remains aligned and prepared to deliver for millions of customers.
About the team
The Mexico HVE team owns the mechanisms that connect Business, Fulfillment, Transportation, and Operations to ensure the network is ready to deliver for customers. We manage the Integrated Business Planning assessment and High Velocity Event (HVE) readiness for major events such as Hot Sale, Prime Day, and Peak.
