Job Mandate
The Openings & Optimizations is responsible for delivering operational excellence across mainline stores and alternative channels in México. This role develops and executes strategies, programming, and resources to support store openings, optimizations, and strategic initiatives. Acting as a liaison between SSC and stores, the incumbent ensures alignment, risk mitigation, and process improvement to optimize the guest experience and operational efficiency.

* Stores: On-the-ground execution, operational escalations, timely feedback.
* Visual Merchandising: VM programming, training, and merchandising maps.
* Logistics, DCs, Procurement: Supply and product delivery.
* IT: Technology procurement and retail setup.
* Store Development: Timeline maintenance, design review, landlord support.
* Asset Protection, People Safety, P&C: Compliance and safety standards.
* Finance & Labor Planning: Budgeting, banking setup, pre-open hours planning.
* Strategic Sales Team: Collaboration for planning and programming.
Outputs
* Regional and Store Managers receive training, critical information, and project updates.
* Cross-functional teams rely on accurate timelines, progress updates, and initiative communication.
* Partners are educated and consulted on new initiatives impacting openings and optimizations.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver operational programming for mainline and alternative channel openings and initiatives.
* Develop and maintain strategy for openings and optimizations across both channels.
* Elevate and innovate processes through feedback to reduce store workload and improve efficiency.
* Gain alignment with retail leaders and cross-functional partners.
* Identify and mitigate risks in projects and initiatives.
* Lead cross-functional meetings to ensure alignment and timely execution.
* Consult and enroll stakeholders in programming and initiative delivery.
* Support team development and performance for openings and optimizations specialists.
Support Activities
* Provide vision and strategy input to Retail Operations leadership.
* Coordinate pipeline strategy for openings and optimizations across channels.
* Partner with cross-functional teams for process improvements.
* Support specialists in escalations and initiative needs.
Key Decisions
* Innovate programming based on feedback and business needs.
* Align with retail leadership on priorities and execution plans.
Job Requirements
* Undergraduate degree required; program management certification preferred.
* 2+ years in retail management or SSC operations.
* 2+ years experience in store opening operations (mainline and/or alternative channels).
* Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
* Strategic thinker with execution and alignment capabilities.
* Thrives in dynamic environments requiring adaptability and collaboration.
