The Standard, Mexico City arrives in the historic Tabacalera neighborhood with character, color and a signature wink. The hotel will feature 206 rooms and suites, 27 branded residences and a leafy "secret" garden sure to become the city's favorite hideaway. Our debut in Latin America raises the aesthetic stakes, drawing from sun-washed CDMX architecture and a sensual, organic palette.
A bright café and late-night diner keep the ground floor lively from early mornings to the final nightcap. Above it all, a rooftop pool, signature restaurant and outdoor bar take in striking views of the Monumento a la Revolución. Each room and residence includes a private balcony, offering a front-row seat to the city.
We're looking for an Entertainment Sales Manager who knows that behind every great production, tour, launch, or headline-making event is someone who made the right connection.

It's about becoming the go-to partner for the people shaping entertainment, music, fashion, film, and culture.
As our Entertainment Sales Manager, you'll build lasting relationships with clients who are constantly on the move. You'll understand their business, anticipate what they need before they ask, and make The Standard their first call when they're bringing talent, productions, crews, or celebrations to Mexico City.
You'll manage every account with intention, balancing day-to-day business with long-term partnerships that keep The Standard at the center of the conversation.
What You'll Do
* Build and grow relationships across the entertainment industry, including production companies, record labels, talent agencies, promoters, studios, and creative brands.
* Manage your accounts through a proactive, relationship-first approach that creates repeat business and lasting partnerships.
* Identify and secure both transient and group opportunities, maximizing each account's potential across the hotel.
* Develop tailored proposals and negotiate agreements that feel as thoughtful as the experiences we deliver.
* Work closely with Revenue, Events, Marketing, and Operations to ensure every stay and every group feels seamless from inquiry to arrival.
* Represent The Standard where the entertainment industry connects-whether that's industry events, premieres, showcases, or networking opportunities.
* Stay curious about what's happening across music, film, fashion, and culture, turning trends into business opportunities.
* Keep your pipeline active, your accounts engaged, and your relationships genuine

Requerimientos del candidato/a:

What You Bring
* Experience in hotel sales, entertainment sales, or luxury/lifestyle hospitality.
* An established network within the entertainment, music, film, media, or creative industries is a strong advantage.
* A proven ability to grow accounts and uncover new business opportunities.
* Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
* Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
* English and Spanish fluency.
* A collaborative mindset, commercial instincts, and a genuine passion for hospitality and culture.
