Memorable stays and seamless planning are at the heart of every day-to-day IHG experience. To keep things running smoothly, we're searching for a proactive and passionate "Reservations Agent" to be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring their booking journey is effortless, personalized, and accurate. A little taste of your day-to-day:
Every day is different, but you'll mostly be:
* Being a trusted contact for our guests, handling reservation inquiries via phone, email, and online channels with a warm and professional manner.
* Keeping up to date with all our room types, hotel facilities, promotions, and seasonal packages to maximize sales and give accurate information.
* Logging and managing bookings in our Property Management System (PMS), maintaining precise guest profiles, and ensuring special requests are documented.
* Administering inventory updates and coordinating closely with the Front Office and Revenue teams to optimize room availability.
* Safeguarding guest data by processing payments securely and adhering strictly to privacy and data protection standards.
What We need from you:
* Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Hospitality, Tourism, Business, or a related field.
* 1 year's related experience in customer service, hospitality, or a call center environment (hotel experience is a plus!).
* Working knowledge of hotel reservation systems (like Opera or similar PMS) and basic office software.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to handle overbookings or special requests effectively.
* Knowledge of secure payment handling and guest data privacy principles.
* Great communication skills, with fluency in Portuguese and English (additional languages are a huge plus).
* You'll be a team player, proactive, responsible, hardworking, and able to work under pressure during peak booking seasons.
