About the role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a QC Analyst, to join our Menstrie site.
The QC analyst performs physical and analytical tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and final products to ensure they meet quality specifications and safety standards.

Key duties include executing tests according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), documenting results, maintaining laboratory equipment, and participating in investigations for deviations or out-of-specifications.

This role involves working as part of a 6 team shift pattern covering 16hr/ 7 days a week operation.

What you'll be doing

* Perform physical, chemical, and microbiological testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products according to approved SOPs.
* Analyze test data and prepare accurate technical documents and reports.
* Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other regulatory requirements.
* Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
* Manage and maintain laboratory inventory, including chemicals and reagents.
* Document and participate in investigations for out-of-specification results or deviations.
* Perform and document stability testing on finished products.
* Help maintain the laboratory's Quality Management System.

What you can bring to the role

* Strong attention to detail and methodical work habits.
* Ability to accurately record and interpret data.
* Proficiency with computer systems, including MS Office.
* Experience with specific testing techniques like HPLC and GC is often desired.
* Excellent time management and the ability to work under pressure.
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Flexibility and adaptability to changing situations.
