Overview
At PepsiCo UK, we're proud to make some of the nation's favourite snacks and drinks-like Walkers, Quaker, Doritos, Pipers, and Monster Munch. With sites across the UK, including our Quaker mill in Cupar and Doritos factory in Coventry, we're also home to one of the world's largest crisp factories in Leicester.
As the Line Operations Manager you will be accountable for the stability, capability, and continuous improvement of operations over time. In this role, you will enable performance not by directly running the shift, but by coaching and developing Frontline Managers (FLMs), establishing strong operating routines, and driving improvements plans focused on addressing root causes rather than short-term fixes. You will ensure that insights from daily and shift performance are translated into sustainable improvements, creating consistency across operations, strengthening team capability, and supporting long-term operational excellence.

* Demonstrating high Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and housekeeping standards.
* Making decisions that sustain and strengthen operational foundations.

* Leading the team by managing and inspiring performance, guiding career development, and driving employee retention and engagement.
* Building organisational capability to deliver strong results and unlock employees' potential.
* Developing and leading a high-performing team, driving accountability and ensuring delivery of results in a 24/7 operation.
* Identifying capability gaps impacting performance and addressing them, including leveraging external expertise where required.
* Demonstrating strong leadership in challenging situations, using them as opportunities to reinforce leadership capability.
* Supporting, managing, and coaching the Line Engineering Lead to maintain and further develop line/area maintenance systems, improving reliability and equipment effectiveness.
* Supporting, managing, and coaching the Specialist/Process Engineer to maintain and improve equipment, processes, and operating standards, driving overall area performance.
Qualifications
* Having first-line leadership experience and demonstrating leadership across operations, safety, and quality.

* Applying structured problem-solving tools and methodologies.
* Demonstrating a flexible, "can do" attitude to role and responsibilities.
* Being results-driven and understanding the link between actions and outcomes.
* Influencing upwards and across the organisation.
* Demonstrating strong IT and presentation skills.
