About RDM
RDM is the standard reference data management application for NN Group. It is .NET and Azure based application entirely built in NN.

After an intense development period in the past 2 years, where the focus was on delivering functionality for the setup of the IFRS17 process, we are now shifting towards operational readiness. In addition, other programs in our Finance Roadmap which leverage on RDM are getting up to speed and also require functional development going forward. This changed focus and increased complexity brings along new challenges for the functional support team. For this reason the role of business analyst is essential to the team. The end-goal is to onboard all data domains of NN in RDM.

Your impact
You are part of Group Finance ID&T within NN Group. In this role you will be the functional linking pin between customers and developers, you understand the business context and can break down uncertain and large problem statements into concrete and actionable parts. You take ownership of the designed solutions and support the Product Owner with the planning and prioritization and support the business with the use of the solution throughout its lifetime. In this role, you are key to deliver on our ambition to improve business processes by designing solutions that are better, faster and cheaper and maintain the customer satisfaction high while using our products.

Your responsibilities
* Working closely with the PO of the RDM DevOps and the developers in the team.
* Translate complex business issues into clear and structured requirements
* Deliver high quality analysis that solve specific business data problems
* Reduce the business question to its essence and pass on this information to the DevOps team
* Convey information about the application to a broad range of different stakeholders including clients, process owners and (project) management
* Deliver these solutions with the help of your DevOps team
* Support the Product Owner with the planning and prioritization
* Support the customers in their daily use of the RDM application
* Guide the users to better understand the possibilities of the RDM usage
* Document the technical and functional analysis
* Document the different functionalities of the application

Who you are
You are a critical and proactive person who enjoys structuring complex issues and provides designs solutions. You enjoy working as part of a team and embrace the agile way of working. You are able to bring in best practices, embrace change and adopt new and better ways of working. You are always keen to learn and broaden your knowledge of technology & data.
* You have some experience in the Financial Services/ Asset Management industry (knowledge of financial instruments and their lifecycle is a big advantage)
* You have experience converting business requirements into practical technical requirements and solutions
* You have worked in scrum environment using tools such as Azure Devops, Jira.
* You have been part of a team implementing data management, data warehousing applications
* You don't hesitate to dive deep and create granular data mapping documents that can be used for developing data processing solutions
* You have knowledge of data modeling techniques such as Data vault, third normal form, dimensional modeling
* You possess working knowledge of software testing lifecycle and have participated in/supported different phases of testing - system test, integration test and user acceptance test
* You have experience working with basic SQL and possess strong affinity and/or interest in technology
* Knowledge of Azure Devops, Azure stack and Figma is a plus
* You have strong communication and presentation skills in English

You will be part of the RDM DevOps which is part of the ID&T department of Group Finance. This is a young and diverse group of professionals within a multi-disciplinary team. How we hire

Usually, the selection process consists of two rounds. The first one takes place with the team lead and recruiter, where we discuss details about the position, the team, and your experience.
