At NN, we are looking for a Junior Manual Tester to join PoLAR - an international team with a strong drive to deliver high-quality results. We enjoy exploring new technologies, working with cloud-based solutions, and continuously improving our processes and testing practices.
Our application supports key business processes in life insurance and pensions, helping actuarial and business teams across several countries manage thousands of daily operations. You will work closely with colleagues and customers to help deliver reliable, user-friendly solutions with real business impact.
You will not be expected to know everything from day one. What matters most is your curiosity, attention to detail, willingness to learn, and confidence to ask questions. With support from experienced testers and analysts, you will gradually build your testing knowledge, technical overview, and understanding of our business domain.

What you'll do ​
* Execute manual test cases for new features, bug fixes, and sys
* tem changes.
* Explore the application to identify defects, inconsistencies, and usability issues.
* ​Verify fixes and perform regression testing before releases.
* ​Participate in requirement reviews and help ensure business needs are properly tested.
* ​Prepare test data and support test analysis activities.
* Contribute to improving testing processes, documentation, and test coverage.
* Collaborate with colleagues from different countries and teams.
* Learn about business processes in life insurance and pensions.

What we're looking for
* You are interested in software testing and quality assurance.
* You have strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
* You are curious and enjoy understanding how systems and processes work.

* ​You have good English skills, both written and spoken.

Nice to have - but not a dealbreaker
* Basic knowledge of software testing principles.
* ​Familiarity with HTML and other web technologies.
* Basic knowledge of NoSQL databases.
* Basic programming or scripting skills.
* ​An interest in test automation and modern testing tools.
* ​Experience with Azure DevOps or similar tools.

The hiring process usually consists of two rounds:
* The first round is a phone call with Michaela. We'll talk about the role and our mutual expectations, and you'll have space to ask your questions too.
* If there is a match on both sides, we'll invite you to a second round, held either online or in person. You'll meet the recruiter, the team lead, and a senior tester. Together, we'll discuss your experience and technical overview, while also introducing you to the team and the role in more detail.
